Childcare

For clients with young children you may need help to find someone to care for them for a few hours a week or even full time. There are a range of childcare options available:

Childminders

A childminder is a person who offers more than two hours of daily childcare to children in the childminder’s own home. Childminders in England are required to register with Ofsted, which oversees and inspects services that provide care for children and young people.

Nannies

A nanny looks after one or more kids while the parents are at work. Nannies may move in with families. A full-time nanny is employed by many families, but it is also common to hire a part-time nanny or an after-school live-out nanny.

Au Pair

Toorder to experience a new culture, learn a new language, and live with a host family, an au pair goes to the UK. The Au Pair will provide childcare and housework in exchange for board, accommodation, and the chance to enroll in a nearby language school. Since an Au Pair receives “pocket money” but is typically not considered an employee, she is not eligible for the typical employment perks and is not required to make the customary tax and national insurance contributions.

Nurseries

Children as little as a few weeks old and up to those who are about to enter primary school can get daycare at a nursery.

Typically open five days a week, nurseries provide care options ranging from half-day to full-time. The state may run nurseries (in the local authority area) or they may be privately run. Over the past 12 years, we have assisted numerous families in finding the best preschool daycare. We send a questionnaire to be filled out so that we can give clients the finest recommendations possible. The best solutions that are available in the area where you will be residing can then be recommended by us.
